Our upmarket client is looking for a knowledgeable and personable Payroll Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate must have a relevant qualification and at least 3 years experience in a similar role, handling a sizeable staff compliment. Extensive experience with payroll systems is a pre-requisite. The ideal candidate must have hands on experience in dealing with wages, including calculating rates of pay, pro- rata hourly payments, etc.

• Experience in dealing with Wages, including calculating rates of pay, pro- rata hourly payments, etc
• A general understanding of how payroll programs work – the client uses Touchstone and has installed Timelink clock in machines. If candidates do not have specific experience with those two, experience with any other program will be transferrable eg Belina
• Attention to detail and a flare for mathematical tasks
• Organised with an understanding of the importance of good filing systems
• Broad understanding of other HR aspects
